May 01, 2026"The food is delicious, but the white light from the window is a bit cold. You look out onto trees, and the traffic is a bit further away, so you're not bothered by the noise so much."

Apr 22, 2026"This is a local cafe with traditional Lisbon food. It is full of locals, not many tourists, it is not a fancy restaurant, but some of the food they offer is better than the posh places for less money. I had the best grilled Baccalaho I have ever had, and I've eaten it in many places. In a light batter, a thick shoulder steak, that has been so steeped in water that it is no longer salty, fine grained texture. Perfectly prepared. Chapeau to Leitaria Baiana!!!"

Mar 23, 2026"Unassuming, calm drinking and food spot. The best part: no tourists. The menu is in Portuguese, the patrons are Portuguese - so you know the food will be good. Staff speak English so order a beer and a random item from the menu. Guaranteed it’ll be good."

Mar 18, 2026"This place is a little gem. Food is great and prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is attentive. The patio is perfect, rain or shine. You can people watch, enjoy some wine, cheese and olives for about 6 euros. This is the best hangout place after a long day of exploring the city. Everything slows down here, you come here, you are like a local. Best place in Lisbon to relax."

Mar 06, 2026"We only came here for a quick snack, but it ended up being my favorite place in Lisbon. We ordered sardines so we could try something traditional. I normally don't eat fish and only planned to have a small taste but they were so delicious I ended up enjoying them. If we ever return to Portugal, would come here again. Price is also very reasonable."
